circa 1840, with 41in. round iron barrel, Zurich canton stamp at breech, plain military style lock possibly converted from flint (at fault), walnut three-quarter stock with dished cheek-piece (repaired crack forwards of sideplate on left), iron furniture including finger-grooved trigger-guard tang, two barrel bands and twin banded nose-cap with applied brass fore-sight and under barrel ramrod, together with a period socket bayonet, (rusted, missing scabbard) and a period leather sling
